Newport to Mews Lane

Like much of the Red Squirrel cycle path, this route is along a former railway line route. It has been upgraded from a largely gravel track to a wider, all-weather, shared-use path. 

At the beginning of 2022, three out of four phases of improvements have been competed. These cover the improvements between Mews Lane and the junction of St Paul’s View and Victoria Road.  

The final phase to link St Paul’s View/Victoria Road to The Riverside Centre is scheduled to begin on 21st February 2022, and be completed by 11th March 2022.
