Beach huts, Sandown

Sandown to Shanklin

This section is great fun, going from Sandown Pier right along the sea front to Shanklin where there is a steep climb up to the Station.

The sea front route is one of contrasts. On a hot summer’s afternoon it will be busy with holidaymakers and you’ll need to be patient making your way along. At other times there will be waves crashing onto the path. Ride as appropriate for the conditions, and take care.
